Definitely go nude. Otherwise the spray on will stain your clothes and your tan may look odd(uneven). I used to work at a tanning salon and have used the spray on tan as well. There are different levels. If you are fair complected, you would start at a level one. If you have a good base tan you may choose levels two or three. You need to choose the appropriate level to avoid looking orange. The consultant at the salon will help you decide which one is best for you. They will also show you how to prep before you tan and show you how to stand. You shouldn't shower immediately after. Allow as much time possible for the spray on to set in. I loved the spray on tan.
