i'm going on holiday next week %26amp; im thinking of getting a spray tan the day or two days before.

of course you can. lots of tanning salons (ex sunset tan) offer a ';cocktail'; which is when you go in the tanning bed, then you get a spray tan. same thing here. that's also why some people use tanning beds with a bronzer tanning bed lotion (which are basically spraytans since its a self tanner that washes off within a few days)
You might as well cover a car in cling film before You spray it.
