Can you still get a tan at the beach EVEN if you have had like a spray tan done?

I'm going to the beach in august but i want to either have a spray tan done or use some tanning lotion you can buy in a store and do it yourself. I want to have an even skin tone BUT I don't want to have it done if it's going to make me darker while at the beach because I tan easily.Can you still get a tan at the beach EVEN if you have had like a spray tan done?
Save your money. If you tan easily- just come on down to the beach--and yes you will still tan with a spray on... or lotion.... but save that expense and treat yourself to something fun at the beach instead!
