Can you wear make up on the morning before you get a spray tan? Does it create a barrier?

Im currently studying beauty therpay at college. A few months ago I passed on St tropez. I would advise you not to wear any makeup, deodrant or any other products.


I did this and got a right telling off by my teacher.


After the day I had my tan, it resulted in having a brown body and white face.


If you do wear makeup they will provide you with special facial wipes to remove any makeup, perfume etc etc.


You cannot use normal wipes as they have different ingredients in them which will mix with the tanning solution.

You can wear it on the morning of your spray tan. Just remember to take it off before you get the tan or else you'll end up with a white face. Hehe. =]

Dont wear make up before you get ur tan. It will u stop getting even coverage so u will have even tan on ur body and a patchy face. Also make sure to exfoliate the night before ur tan including ur face. Hope this helps!
Yes, it does create a barrier. Majority of makeup products contain silicone and that in fact covers your skin-
It will create a barrier. I had a spray tan done last weekend and wore makeup and she gave me cleanser to take it off before she sprayed. Best to wear no makeup!
Don't put foundation on, you will end up with a bald patch.
