How do I tone down an extremely dark professional spray tan? If worse comes to worse, how do i remove it?

I got a spray tan tuesday night and it looked a little blotchy so I went back to get it touched up last night. Instead of a touchup the lady decided to spray me entirely again. Now I am extremely dark and it does not look good because I was really fair before. I have prom tomorrow night and I am stressing badly how to tone this down or even remove it. Any ideas? How do I tone down an extremely dark professional spray tan? If worse comes to worse, how do i remove it?
I don't know if this works other than immediately afterwards, but try cutting a lemon in half and rubbing it on your skin. Exfoliate AFTERWARDS or else it'll sting. How do I tone down an extremely dark professional spray tan? If worse comes to worse, how do i remove it?
you can try going back and telling her how unhappy you are with it. they may have a product that can reverse it.

you could always try a loofah or body scrub to remove the top layers. Something else that seems to fade a tan pretty quickly is swimming in an indoor heated pool that uses chlorine as their cleaning agent. I teach swimming, and a tan (no matter how it came about) always fades after a few days of teaching. Obviously you don't have that sort of time, but it's a start.

honestly, though, i'd go back and tell her how unhappy you are. if she won't fix it, go to another salon and see if they can help.
I had the same thing happen to me...This is what I did and it worked pretty good.. You are gonna need some time, so get ready for a spa like setting...

1. shower and exfoliate.

2. slather on some baby oil, any type of oil will work, make sure you get it in the area that are going to show most.

Let set 5/10 minutes.. Then exfoliate again, using a Dish washing detergent...I know,I know, but that detergent, fights more stains, and dirt than the nice bath soap... After done....Rub, Rub, with your bath towel...repeat if necessary,,,, It wont be completely gone, but it will tone it down
You could try alternating an exfoliating mitt with some exfoliating granules in the shower...might take one or two goes to get the dark surface colour off. Unfortunately these tans and the colour change to the skin are achieved by a chemical reaction , so obviously it it will not wash off compeltely - it will need to fade. That will take a week. However, exfoliating might take the 'dirty' look off.
ouch...u got urself in a bad situation there. well, i know that it goes when u shower several times but u need a quick fix. well, if ur wearing a long dress, u dont have to worry about ur legs. i guess u can get white powder...the one used for face and brush some on urself when u finish ur make up and all :S

good luck
exfoliate with a scrub and a loofah to remove to tan-stained skin. if this fails look it up on google!
Have A soke in the bath
