I'm thinking about going to a tanning salon (probably Hollywood tans?) for a spray tan before my senior prom. I'm a little unsure though about the whole process and what you wear there, what it looks like, and how the whole thing happens. Also, anyone recommend/nor recommend Hollywood Tans? Sorry if those sound like stupid questions, but I really have no idea how the whole thing works and I just want to be comfortable my first time there. Any tips/suggestions? Thanks ahead of time =).How does the spray-tan process work?
i highly suggest not doing the spray tan if you haven't done it before for a dance. just because you may not like the results.
Spray tans effect everyone differently... if you do it only go for a shade darker. otherwise you will look so different' and it won't look beleivable.
Don't be afraid of doing it though you just go in, and well at mine... they give me a suit to wear and you put your hair in this wrap and they give you googles. then you go into a machine and this machine sprays stuff all around your body kind of like a touchless car wash.
Some people don't liek the spray tans though they don't like the results and if not carefully taken care of you start to look two toned from scratching/expholiating/ washing yourself
but it's your decision. good luck. and have fun.!How does the spray-tan process work?
It's a good idea to use a body scrub before you go. You can wear an old swim suit if you want, it's really best to wear nothing, so your clothes don't get messed up. Hollywood Tans is fine, you may need to go more than one time to get the color you want though.
