ask for a tester before going in. to be honest being your own self would look better. most tans look orangey and fake.

Try Jergen's Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. If you put a fair amount on each day, you'll have a nice natural looking tan by Saturday :) Just be sure to rub it in all over (and wash it off your hands!) otherwise it will leave orange spots. Overall it's a great product with fast results, you should definitely use it instead of a spray tan!
Also, unlike a spray tan, you don't have to worry about it being too dark or orange because it starts out gradually. If you put it on at night you'll notice it in the morning :) Plus, it's cheaper than spray tans and isn't harmful like tanning beds.
spray tans (if you pick the right shade) often look pretty natural and is a lot safer than actually tanning. my advice dont go in a booth have an employee (of the same gender) spray you. It might be embarassing to be naked in front of them but with someone spraying you your sure to get every part covered (like in between your fingers) and it is a lot easier.
Spray away! Many beauty contestants get spray tans before their events. If you are new to the process I would recommend getting some pointers from others in the industry. You should visit TiaraTalk.net, its a social network for pageant people. There are a number of pageant participants and judges who can give you some advice on the do's and don'ts. Try looking at other peoples before and after results of the brand you plan on using. Go light, you dont want it to look unnatural! Its definately healthier, tanning your skin with UV light from the sun can actually damage your skin, as it is burning it! I would definately go for Spray On. :) Good luck.
I think not having a tan will set you apart from the other girls. Everyone there is probably going to have a tan. Use your natrual beauty to your advantage. If not then i think a spray tan will work best instead of an actualy tan in the tanning bed. Spray tan is alot safer. The tanning bed can give u skin cancer.

If your really white I suggest you just keep your skin the way it is.
Pale skin is beautiful!
It looks more pure.
And plus you have more of a chance of turning out like a carrot if you have fair skin.
Fair skin + Spray tan = Disaster
go to the tanning bed the Spray will make you look orange. for my prom i was white and i went to the bed like everyday for a week for 15 min and i got a good tan!!!

use spary tan if you want to look orange, otherwise hang out in the sun for a while

try to find a place that does them for you, not a machine. It will be more accurate.
