Will spray tan make me break out if I have sensitive skin?

I have really sensitive skin, i can't use a lot of tanning lotions because they make me break out really badly.

i wanted to get a spray tan, but i'm worried that it is going to make me break out really badly since my skin is so sensitive.

does anyone know if there's a way i can make it so my skin won't break out? Will spray tan make me break out if I have sensitive skin?
I have extremely sensitive skin myself and have never had a problem with Mystic tan. It works well and has never left me with a breakout. Just make sure to exfoliate beforehand so that you don't get any patchiness. It's a machine that does it rather than a person so its a lot more cost effective. I also tried using the pre-tan Mystic lotion (which ensures that you get even coverage) and its light and fragrance-free so I didn't have a bad reaction to it at all. I am pretty sure that all Mystic tan products are hypoallergenic. Either way I never thought I could get a spray tan with my sensitive skin, but this works wonders! Will spray tan make me break out if I have sensitive skin?
Call the tan shop and ask to speak to the manager. Explain you situation to her and ask if you can come by to get a patch test done for an allergy check. In most cases, the salons will let you. They would need to put a quarter sized patch on the inside of your elbow and on the inside of you thigh. Let it sit for at least 4 hours, if you don't have a reaction you should be OK. If you do have a reaction, do not get the tan.

Good luck :)
make sure you exfoliate with a sugar scrub before you go in, and tell the esthetician you would like her to brush you with a loofah brush which will give you extra exfoliate, and you should not break out! Also make sure after you dont shower that night but the next day exfoliate again to get any left over dye that did not soak up into your skin! Good luck
Yes ! You should get tanning spray that's made for sensitive skin. They may have them at WalMart for the cheapest bet. Or at Tanning Salons. That might cost more though.

Or, you could try spraying a little bit (just a little!) on an area (not your face!!) of your body, wait 24 hours, and if you don't break out, chances are, you wont if you use it!

Good Luck ! [:
