Do you have to exfoliate? How long does a spray on tan normally last? is there anyway to make it last longer?Whats the best way to prepare before a spray tan?
exfoliate, exfoliate exfoliate. i wouldn't use moisturizer because your skin becomes slippery and the self tanner might run. the smoother and cleaner your skin is, the more even the application. dry areas will look darker then others. also, after you are done, try not to shower for a matter of hours. i usually go to sleep with the self Tanner on me then shower the next morning to get the darkest colors.Whats the best way to prepare before a spray tan?
Meditate for several hours beforehand and sacrifice a chicken or two.
Exfoliate very well, especially around rough areas like elbows and knees. Then use a moisturizer all over.
Before going in, moisturize your hands, elbows, knuckles, and feet one last time.
After the tan, moisturize regularly to prolong the tan.
They can last up to a week on your body. It will fade faster on your face because of frequent washing and scrubing.
If you have sensitive skin I would exfoliate like crazy and my tans have last as long as 1 month
Yes, you must exfoliate. If you're lucky, the tan will last for max. 3 to 4 days, after which the tan will go all blotchy. In my opinion, spray tans are not worth it unless you're having it done specifically for a special occasion.
